The successful applicant will provide high quality critical care to acutely ill and injured patients, both in the prehospital environment and during inter-hospital transfers with the retrieval service. They will gain valuable experience working under the guidance of highly experienced senior clinicians as part of the Lismore Base Hospital and Westpac Helicopter Retrieval Base. STP funded Advanced Registrar training position oppurtunity in a Private ED in the heart of the Gold Coast.   Job is for a Tier 3 registrar (not acredited for T4 training - no junior Doctor supervision). Job Description Redcliffe Hospital Emergency Department is seeking applications for the position of ED Registrar/PHO or Ultrasound Special Skills Placement, for the remainder of 2026 and 2027. ED Registrar/PHO position can be at full-time or part-time. Ultrasound position is a full-time role - 0.5 FTE in USS + 0.5 FTE in ED. Rostered in an alternating week in USS, week in ED. ASUM accredited (for units in BELS, EFAST, AAA, Lungs) ultrasound special skills term in a busy department with good case-mix. ACEM accredited for two registrars per 6-month term. Ultrasound learning is protected – trainees are not expected to get involved in other floor duties on ultrasound days.
