Campbelltown Emergency is a busy department which, with our linked site at Camden, saw 96,000 presentations in 2019.

We are a mixed ED located in South West Sydney with a 27% Paediatric caseload. We have ACEM accreditation for both Adult and Paediatric ED training, supervised by a group of enthusiastic ED Specialists. We enjoy a wide range of clinical services which are currently being expanded as part of a $700M redevelopment (new ED opening in June this year). Some of the models of care that will be enhanced through the new ED include Geriatric Emergency Medicine, Mental Health, End of Life Care, Paediatrics and Procedural Sedation

The ED is affiliated with the Western Sydney University Clinical School and work will commence this year on the co-located Macarthur Medical Research Building.
