St Andrew's Hospital Emergency Service provides emergency medical attention from 8.00am - 10.00pm, seven days a week. The Service has been established to provide assessment of patients with acute medical and surgical conditions who:

• require emergency care aligned to the hospitals specialities;
• have a local doctor / specialist referral; or
• have been a recent inpatient and require review.
