Associate Lecturer in Critical Care Education Located at The University of Sydney, School of Medicine, Camperdown Campus Part Time (0.5FTE), Fixed Term for 6 months, starting Semester 1, 2020, base salary $74K p.a pro rata plus superannuation     About the opportunity  This position is accredited as a Special Skills Placement by the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM). We are seeking to appoint a part time Associate Lecturer for Semester 1, 2020 to support the ongoing development and delivery of the Master of Medicine (Critical Care Medicine). The Associate Lecturer will report to the Critical Care Program Director and the Director of Professional Medical Education and collaborate with relevant unit of study coordinators, expert contributors and professional staff. The Associate Lecturer will develop learning materials and assessment items, contribute to unit of study teaching activities (mainly online with some face to face workshops in some units) including facilitating and moderating online discussion forums and webinars, monitoring student progress and providing feedback and remediation where needed, marking assignments and examination papers. The Associate Lecturer will also evaluate teaching and learning materials and delivery and contribute to ongoing quality improvement and educational research activity in relation to the Critical Care program. This is a part-time position at 0.5 FTE which is equivalent to 2.5 days per week and working hours are flexible.   About you   The University values courage and creativity; openness and engagement; inclusion and diversity; and respect and integrity.
