Registrar / Principal House Officer - Emergency Medicine

About Your Role

As an Emergency Department Principal House Officer/Registrar, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality emergency medical care to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of emergency presentations
• Deliver timely, patient-centred care in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Coordinate patient admissions, transfers and discharge planning
• Develop and apply advanced resuscitation skills across adult, paediatric and neonatal care
• Collaborate with specialist teams to optimise patient outcomes

About You

You are a motivated and patient-focused medical practitioner with a passion for emergency medicine and a commitment to delivering exceptional clinical care.

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience in emergency medicine or acute care
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy emergency setting
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior medical staff
