About the Role:
The Emergency Department Registrar is responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department (ED). The role involves clinical assessment, management, and coordination of emergency care for a broad range of acute medical conditions, trauma, and other urgent presentations. For trainees, the role includes ongoing progression through the ACEM Training Program.
The Riverland General Hospital is accredited for a 6 month Special Skills Placement in Rural and Remote Health through ACEM.
You will also play a key role in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives, participating in audits, accreditation processes, and risk management activities that promote safe, patient-centred care.
