We are looking for suitable FACEM's in fulltime or part time capacity, to join our team at Echuca Regional Health.
Echuca ED is rapidly growing and we are hoping to recruit FACEM's with an interest in taking on a leadership role as a co-DEMT or Deputy Director. We are flexible with respect to your needs and aspirations, hours of work and working from home.
We are developing our High-Dependency Unit, with opportunities for those who want to work in the unit available, as well as our Paediatric capacity, so an interest in a Paediatric leadership role also possible.
We’re currently taking part in the ACEM Accredited Training Network (ATN) pilot
The ATN pilot offers FACEM trainees the chance to complete their training within a group of sites – major referral, regional and rural – within a defined region. ATNs are designed to provide a coordinated training experience, with consistent supervision, clear progression and a structured FACEM training pathway – with the benefit of not having to navigate training placements alone.
Trainees are supported by a collaborative team of experienced Site DEMTs and ATN DEMTs working together to guide progression and provide oversight throughout training.
FACEM trainees will benefit from localised education and training delivery with ATN-wide oversight and opportunities, a focus on equitable access to training rotations, and a culture of collaboration that fosters both professional growth and wellbeing.
Echuca ED is a great place to work, with a supportive team and Executive. We don't ramp ambulances, we have great patient flow and the lastest Victorian patient feedback surveys showed that we topped the state averages in 22 categories....so our community is very on board also!
