• Fully remote — work from anywhere in Australia

• Flexible 4-hour shifts:

  • 4:00pm – 8:00pm (AEST)

  • 7:30pm – 11:30pm (AEST)

• Integrated digital workflow (Coviu + MediRecords)

• No commuting, no overcrowding, no access block

About Fast Track Emergency

Fast Track Emergency is a newly launched, FACEM-led virtual emergency service delivering after-hours care via telehealth across Australia.

We provide rapid access to specialist emergency care outside the traditional hospital setting, with a focus on:

• Early senior decision-making

• Reducing avoidable ED presentations

• Coordinating care across community and hospital systems

• Emerging models including virtual ward follow-up

The Role

We are expanding our early launch team of FACEMs.

You will deliver telehealth-based emergency care, managing undifferentiated presentations with a focus on risk stratification, safety-netting, and appropriate escalation.

Remuneration

• Contractor model (ABN required)

• 65% of billings ($199 per consult)

As a newly launched service, patient volumes will build over the first 4–8 weeks. This role is well suited to clinicians seeking flexibility and those interested in contributing to the early growth of a scalable model, with strong upside as demand increases.

Clinical scope

• Low–moderate acuity emergency presentations

• Risk stratification, safety-netting, and escalation

• Prescribing, imaging, and referral pathways

• Virtual ward and short-term follow-up care

About you

• FACEM with current AHPRA registration

• Comfortable managing undifferentiated presentations via telehealth

• Strong clinical judgement and risk tolerance

• Interest in digital health and evolving care models

• Reliable home setup (private workspace, stable internet)

Experience in telehealth and/or private emergency care is advantageous.
