Intensive Care Registrar – CICM Trainees preferred Department of Critical Care Medicine (DCCM) at Royal Hobart Hospital has a new vacancy for an   Intensive Care Registrar,   to commence as soon as possible. In addition to the current vacancy, registrar parental leave cover registrar position will be available later in 2026 – start date to be confirmed. Royal Hobart Hospital has Tasmania’s only Tertiary Level 3 Intensive Care Unit and we are the referral centre for all major specialties. We have C24 CICM accreditation and a very broad medical and surgical casemix – including Cardiac Surgery, ECMO, Neurosurgery, Major Trauma and all surgical and medical subspecialties. This broad general casemix makes our unit really well suited for trainees preparing for exams, and over many years our trainees have had outstanding exam success.
