An exciting opportunity is available at Lismore Base Hospital for an Emergency Medicine Trainee. The successful applicants will gain valuable experience our hospital in the beautiful Northern NSW Richmond Network, working under the guidance of highly experienced senior clinicians as part of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine's (ACEM) training program. The Lismore Base Hospital (LBH) Emergency Department (ED) sees over 38,000 adult and paediatric presentations per year and is a regional trauma centre. The department includes modern facilities such as a 4  bed resuscitation and procedure bay, acute zone, an ED short stay unit (EDSSU), fast track and medical imaging services. LBH ED also supports Richmond Network hospitals including Ballina District Hospital and Casino Memorial District Hospital, and Multipurpose Centres located at Kyogle, Nimbin, Urbenville & Bonalbo.
