Job Description Redcliffe Hospital Emergency Department is seeking applications for the position of ED Registrar/PHO or Ultrasound Special Skills Placement, for the remainder of 2026 and 2027. ED Registrar/PHO position can be at full-time or part-time. Ultrasound position is a full-time role - 0.5 FTE in USS + 0.5 FTE in ED. Rostered in an alternating week in USS, week in ED. ASUM accredited (for units in BELS, EFAST, AAA, Lungs) ultrasound special skills term in a busy department with good case-mix. ACEM accredited for two registrars per 6-month term. Ultrasound learning is protected – trainees are not expected to get involved in other floor duties on ultrasound days. Good patient cohort allowing utilisation of POCUS at the bedside in multiple modalities and procedures. Will be able to develop proficiency in diagnostic POCUS scans but also procedures such as nerve blocks. Easy to review scans as images are automatically uploaded onto hospital PACS....
