To provide medical care and receive training in intensive care medicine within a tertiary children’s hospital. The case-mix of QCH provides registrars with exposure to the full range of subspecialties including neuro-intensive care, trauma & burns, cardiac intensive care and ECLS, liver transplant, and oncology and BMT. The Tasmanian Health Service is seeking interest from suitable applicants for Registrar and Fellow vacancies in Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH). The RHH Department of Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine (DDHM) is fully accredited for ANZCA Advanced Certificate of Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine training, subject to the applicant meeting ANZCA requirements. The positions are also accredited by the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine, Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and the Australian College for Rural and Remote Medicine for advanced training as a Special Skills Category A term, and are approved by the South Pacific Underwater Medicine Society for the SPUMS Diploma of Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine. Intensive Care Registrar – CICM Trainees preferred Department of Critical Care Medicine (DCCM) at Royal Hobart Hospital has two Intensive Care Registrar positions available to cover upcoming parental leave. The first of these will commence at the end of April 2026 and the second will commence from the start of July 2026.  Both positions will end 1 February 2027.
