ACEM Trainee (TS2 / TS3) - Emergency Medicine

24 hour private emergency medicine training, right in the heart of Brisbane's biggest health precinct.

Private Emergency Health Australia (PEHA) delivers ACEM-accredited emergency medicine training across a network of private hospital emergency departments in Queensland and Western Australia. We're looking for ACEM trainees to join our team at Mater Private Hospital South Brisbane - an ACEM-accredited Stage 2 (TS2) and Stage 3 (TS3) training site operating a full 24-hour private emergency service.

• ACEM-accredited TS2/TS3 core EM training: bank college recognised training time in a true round the clock private ED, with the overnight and full acuity exposure that only a 24/7 department can offer.

Here's what most ACEM trainees don't realise: ACEM accredited Training Stage 2 and Training Stage 3 experience is available inside a private ED and at PEHA, you don't have to choose just one site to get it.

•      Do TS2 and TS3 without changing employer: complete one stage at Mater Private South Brisbane and the other at Townsville Mater Private or Hollywood Private Hospital (Perth). One PEHA contract, one credentialing team, one supportive company, wherever your training plan takes you.

•      Continuity that counts: keep your leave entitlements, your induction, and your relationships with PEHA's Directors of Emergency Medicine Training as you move between sites.

•      Built around your training plan: our DEMTs work with you and your college mentors to sequence TS2/TS3 rotations so your Fellowship Written Exam prep and Fellowship pathway stay on track.

Mater Private Hospital South Brisbane operates a 24 hour private emergency service from its Vulture Street campus. A 363 bed facility with 10 operating theatres and more than 35 specialised clinical services, sitting within the wider Mater Hill health, education and research precinct.

•      Enrolled in the ACEM Training Program, currently at, or approaching, Training Stage 2 or Training Stage 3

•      Current AHPRA registration
