Remuneration 

$200,000 – $300,000 yearly 
Annualised packages of $250k+ available 

 

About the Opportunity 

Private Emergency Health Australia (PEHA) is a FACEM-founded and led organisation delivering expert management of private emergency departments across metropolitan, regional and rural Australia. Our focus is simple: supporting doctors to practise high-quality emergency medicine while reducing administrative burden and providing strong clinical mentorship. 

We are seeking Stage 2 and Stage 3 ACEM trainees for training positions at Hollywood Private Hospital (Accredited Private Emergency Department). 

Positions are available on a full-time or part-time basis. 

Immediate start opportunities are available for trainees who are ready to commence, with flexible start dates available throughout 2026 and 2027. 

 

Department Overview 

Hollywood Private Hospital is Australia’s largest private hospital, with: 

• More than 900 beds 
• Over 75,000 admissions per year 
• More than 800 accredited specialists 

The emergency department manages adult patients and low-acuity paediatric presentations (2 yrs+) and is supported by comprehensive hospital services including: 

• Onsite radiology 
• Pathology services 
• Cardiac catheterisation laboratory 
• Intensive Care Unit 
• Access to admitting specialists across multiple disciplines 

This creates a highly resourced clinical environment with broad specialist access and strong multidisciplinary support. Working at Hollywood Private Hospital offers you the opportunity to train in a private emergency department where you will spend more time practising emergency medicine and learning from experienced FACEM mentors, with less time navigating operational pressures. 

About You 

You are an ACEM Trainee – Stage 2 or Stage 3 seeking opportunities that support your progression through ACEM training, including preparation for examinations and advancement through advanced training. 

You are passionate about building a sustainable career within a growing national emergency medicine network, with opportunities to pursue FACEM roles across the PEHA network following completion of training.
