To provide medical care and receive training in intensive care medicine within a tertiary children’s hospital. The case-mix of QCH provides registrars with exposure to the full range of subspecialties including neuro-intensive care, trauma & burns, cardiac intensive care and ECLS, liver transplant, and oncology and BMT. An exciting opportunity is available at Lismore Base Hospital for an   Advanced Trainee in Retrieval Medicine   position from   August 2026 for a period of six months . The successful applicant will provide high quality critical care to acutely ill and injured patients, both in the prehospital environment and during inter-hospital transfers with the retrieval service. They will gain valuable experience working under the guidance of highly experienced senior clinicians as part of the Lismore Base Hospital and Westpac Helicopter Retrieval Base, working under the guidance of highly experienced senior clinicians.
