ACEM Jobs Board – Changes and Improvements

 

The ACEM Jobs Board  team are making some important changes and improvements to the ACEM Jobs Board website. These changes cover the way payments will be processed from 1 August 2024, an upgrade to functionality, and enhanced advertising opportunities with the College.

Upgrade to functionality of the ACEM Jobs Board 

To provide the best possible platform for recruiters to connect with our College community and help them to take the next step in their career, we are upgrading our ACEM Jobs Board website. The new version of the ACEM Jobs Board will provide improved functionality, including:

  • From 1 July 2024, agencies will be able to post advertisements for multiple clients from one login/account.
  • Improved category options will allow better tagging of positions to make easier connections with interested emergency medicine healthcare professionals.
  • These new categories will also be used, when aligned with the College’s mission, in promotional campaigns aimed at members and trainees (i.e. promotion of Regional, Rural and Remote roles falls under our governing Rural Health Action Plan).
  • Following feedback from users, we have now introduced Stripe as our credit card payment platform and have also provided the option to pay by direct bank transfers. 

 
Featured advertising opportunities

ACEM Jobs Board advertisers regularly ask for additional ways to promote or highlight high-profile positions that need to be filled quickly. In response to this, we will be trialling three new options that offer added prominence across our job board and in our regular eDMs to members. This trial will last for six months, finishing on 30 November 2024 for evaluation of ongoing feasibility. Find out more about the new high-profile advertising options here
 
The three new options include standard listing on the ACEM Jobs Board but offer additional higher profile options. These include:

  • Option 1 – monthly
    Front page featured job listings – allowing your advert to be positioned at the top of the ACEM Jobs Board homepage for the duration of the listing. This option includes a free post on our LinkedIn page. Please note that only three featured job listings are available at one time. 

     
  • Option 2 monthly
    Display banner in our weekly Bulletin and monthly Faculty Updates at the top of the jobs section.
     
  • Option 3 monthly
    Display banner in our monthly Trainee News at the top of the jobs section.

IMPORTANT: Notice of change of payment process

Non-payment of invoices within the current 30-day invoicing period is causing the College a significant financial administration burden in pursuing unpaid invoices.
 
Due to this, from 1 August 2024 the College will be switching over to a payment before posting process via Stripe Credit Card or Bank Transfer. Advertisers will have to be up to date with overdue invoices before the changeover date to continue posting jobs.
 
If you cannot reach the deadline, please contact [email protected] with a proposal for a scheduled payment plan. Advertisers not within the current 30-day payment term will need to have  arranged a scheduled payment plan for arrears by 1 September 2024.
