The Tasmanian Health Service is seeking interest from suitable applicants for Registrar and Fellow vacancies in Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH). The RHH Department of Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine (DDHM) is fully accredited for ANZCA Advanced Certificate of Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine training, subject to the applicant meeting ANZCA requirements. The positions are also accredited by the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine, Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and the Australian College for Rural and Remote Medicine for advanced training as a Special Skills Category A term, and are approved by the South Pacific Underwater Medicine Society for the SPUMS Diploma of Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine. All applicants must be fit to dive as per AS/NZS 2299.1 or AS/NZS 4774.2. The SPUMS Diploma is suitable for registrars at any level of training.
