Southern DHB is a large district health boad that provides health care to the lower South Island in New Zealand.  Southern DHB has, within the district, several hospitals with EDs located in them. Some are in the major southern citites such as Dunedin and Invercargill whereas other ED's can be located in the more rural areas including Queenstown, Dunstan and Oamaru.
