Flinders Medical Centre Department is a tertiary ED, seeing both adults and paediatrics.  It is a tertiary trauma centre and the dedicated obstetric trauma centre for South Australia, seeing approx 90,000 presentations per year of high overall acuity with 20% paediatric presentations.
