Epworth Richmond's emergency department treats more patients than any other private hospital emergency department in Victoria; over 30,000 patients annually. It is staffed by a team of experienced doctors and nurses 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The emergency department assesses and treats people with serious injuries and those in need of emergency treatment.

Advanced trainees can refine clinical skills by managing, and being responsible for, their own patient case-load, receiving timely diagnostic information and communicating directly with expert specialists in other fields. Combined with roster flexibility and senior DEMT tuition, it’s an ideal environment to prepare for Fellowship exams. Weekly education sessions are held at our state-of the-art Clinical Education and Simulation Centre.
