Sydney Adventist Hospital (SAH) has been pioneering whole-person health for 120 years. SAH is NSW’s largest private hospital with state-of-the-art technology and facilities.
SAH is operated by Adventist HealthCare Limited, a Christian healthcare provider owned by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. As a not-for-profit organisation, we have an unwavering commitment to providing world class care.
Our Emergency Care Department opened in May 1996 it was the first private Emergency Care facility on Sydney’s North Shore. Today we are the largest and busiest private emergency facility in NSW treating approximately 20,000 patients annually.
At SAH we provide a comprehensive range of acute surgical, medical, obstetric and paediatric care, including complex cardiac procedures, robotics and minimally invasive surgery, as such we see a wide range of emergency conditions, with 15% of patients being paediatric population.
As a teaching hospital, with affiliations with both Avondale University and Australian National University, our team has opportunities to be involved in research and teaching activities across all disciplines.
