Epworth Geelong Emergency Department is the first emergency department in a private hospital co-located with a university, and set to meet the needs of the growing community of Greater Geelong, Southwest Victoria and Wyndham.

Epworth Geelong Emergency Department sees over 14,000 patients annually, assessing and treating people with serious injuries and those in need of emergency treatment.  It is staffed by a team of experienced doctors and nurses between the hours of 08.00 to 0030, seven days a week. 

As well as our Emergency Department, Epworth Geelong also provides medical, surgical and rehabilitation inpatient beds, a range of surgeries, medical consulting suites, rehabilitation facilities, a complex care unit, maternity ward and a clinical education and simulation precinct to enhance the clinical knowledge of nursing, medical and allied health staff and students.
