Job Ref: 702107 Medical Practitioner (Registrar/RMO) - Emergency Department   Northern Adelaide Local Health Network, Lyell McEwin & Modbury Hospitals, Elizabeth Vale & Modbury Indicative Total Remuneration: $95,302 - $154,699; Multiple positions: Temp F/T (up to 31 Jan 2020) MDP2   This is an exceptional opportunity to join a unique and dynamic health care setting as part of the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network. A multi-faceted role where you will tackle a varied caseload within a fast paced environment, you will be responsible for provision of emergency medical assessment and treatment for patients attending the Emergency Department in consultation with the shift Consultants, Night Team Leaders, and in cooperation with Nursing and Allied Health professionals. As an experienced Medical Practitioner (Registrar / RMO), you will ensure that all patients have a comprehensive assessment sufficient to provide guidance for the management, investigation and ongoing treatment of the patient. You will liaise with other services of NALHN, other health providers in the community and hospital sector as well as with the broader community in the pursuit of comprehensive patient care and be actively involved in Continuous Quality Improvement.   To be the successful candidate, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent and be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner. Your clinical experience in Emergency Medicine setting will be evident by your comprehensive knowledge of Emergency Medicine including skill requirements, procedures, equipment and the clinical implementation of Emergency equipment. A confident communicator, you will bring the proven ability to liaise with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. You will have high level skill in problem solving and decision making at both the clinical and individual level. In addition, you will be innovative and flexible, able to react positively to change.   The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working including part-time.
