The Werribee Mercy Hospital expansion is a state-of-the-art project designed to meet the soaring demand of a community that is predicted to grow by nearly 200,000 residents over the next decade. Opening later this year, this expansion will double the current ED capacity, increasing treatment spaces from 33 to 67. The new, purpose-built facility features:

  • Advanced infrastructure including 4 new resuscitation bays and a 16-bed Short Stay Unit (SSU)

  • Purpose-built dedicated fast-track paediatric and behavioural assessment zones
