Mildura Base Hospital (MBH) is a modern 180 bed (level 1) Tertiary teaching Hospital. The Hospital is managed by Ramsay Health Care in a contractual arrangement with the Victorian Government.  MBH provides public hospital services on behalf of the Victorian Government to the community of Mildura and the Sunraysia District. 

Mildura is in north-west Victoria and is set on the banks of the magnificent Murray River, and has a population of around 60,000. We are approximately 540km from Melbourne by road, or 1 hour by plane. Adelaide is also easily travelled to. Our airport is serviced by Qantas, Virgin Australia and REX Airlines.

Mildura has the perfect mediterranean climate, with our high number of warm sunny days perfect for visiting our many cafes and restaurants or relaxing by the Murray River. Mildura also has a large shopping centre and shopping district, excellent sporting and cultural facilities, hosts numerous festivals, and has many high performing public and private schools.
