QEII Emergency Department is seeking registrars and principal house officers to join our Emergency Department for the remainder of 2026 and 2027. We are a metro hospital in Brisbane located 15 minutes from the city centre. The ED sees approximately 70,000 presentations a year and is accredited for 36 months of ACEM advanced training. We welcome applicants at every stage — from junior PHOs through to late-stage advanced trainees. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and we are genuinely flexible: you can join us for all or part of the year. Our education program is a real strength, with four hours of protected teaching time each week pitched across all levels of experience, alongside dedicated special skills terms in simulation, medical education, ultrasound and anaesthetic rotations to meet critical care requirements.
