The Paediatric Emergency Department at Monash Medical Centre is looking for positive, committed and inspiring Paediatric Emergency Physicians to join a thriving team dedicated to achieving the best in patient care. Opportunities exist for permanent, fixed term and weekend only positions.

The Paediatric Emergency Department is accredited for up to 12 months of training for both ACEM and RACP. We are committed to the ongoing career development of our Paediatric Emergency Physicians and providing the highest standard of patient care.

We are strong contributors to MERC (Monash Emergency Research Collaborative) and our strong links to Monash University and the research precinct onsite will help you to maximise your development, allowing you to build versatility and experience job satisfaction. We have substantial involvement with PREDICT, a paediatric research collaborative across Australia and New Zealand.

Stage 2 of our dedicated children’s ED redevelopment opens on March 24th 2021 with completion due in early 2022.

In accordance with recent Victorian Public Health directions all employees working in the Public Health system need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and be required to provide evidence of their vaccination status. All candidates that are recommended for appointment will be required to provide evidence they meet the vaccination criteria.

This will be by providing a copy of your immunisation history statement, which can be accessed via My Gov, or evidence that you have a vaccination appointment before 1 November 2021. This evidence will need to be uploaded to the E Recruit system.
