Job Description

  • Northern Adelaide Local Health Network - Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospitals - Elizabeth Vale & Modbury - Emergency Department
  • Total Indicative Remuneration: $416,918 - $542,041 p.a. pro rata - MD2 - Multiple Positions - Full-Time or Part-Time Temporary – up to 6 February 2022

As the Consultant Emergency Department you will be responsible for managing the care of all patients allocated to you in the Emergency Department in collaboration with the responsible Resident Medical Officers, Registrars, fellow Consultants, Nurses and Allied Health professionals.

In this role you will be involved in Continuous Quality Improvement activities and in continuing education activities.

To be eligible for this position you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
