Registrar Positions available for ACEM Advanced Trainees for six month or 12 month full time appointments (80 hours per fortnight) commencing February 2022. In this role you will experience rural emergency medicine in a supportive and friendly environment. Rostering is flexible and includes education time.
The ACEM positions are accredited for 6 months as a Rural and Remote ED Special Skills Term and allow trainees to focus on their professional development, decision making and procedural skills acquisition. There is an option to link with a further 6 month tertiary critical care term of the trainee’s choosing. Opportunities to assist in the delivery of emergency medicine education within the region, and to complete the ACEM 4:10 requirements are available.
The Emergency Department is a busy Regional Resource Centre department which takes all referrals from the Midwest Region and is amongst the busiest of the WACHS Emergency Departments. A highly varied case-mix will provide many opportunities to gain hands on procedural skills and a broad clinical experience.
Remuneraton: Registrar Year 1-7, $131,299 to $175,977 pa (includes base salary $110,678 to $151,479 pa, professional Development allowance $10,107 pa and 9.50% employer contributed Superannuation). Rates as at February 2021.
