This is a Fixed Term Full Time (40 hrs p/week) or Part Time (64 hours per fortnight) appointment for up to 5 years.
Position Profile: Geraldton Hospital is seeking to appoint a Consultant - Emergency Medicine. The ED at Geraldton is busy regional resource centre seeing approximately 30,000 patients/year and an admission rate of 20%. Approximately 30% presentations are paediatrics and there is a high proportion of Indigenous patients. The nearest tertiary hospital is located in Perth, approximately 500km away, therefore the ED manages a wide range of significant trauma and high acuity illness. You will join a team of enthusiastic FACEMs committed to providing high quality Emergency care and training. Fractional appointments are available and the position also includes the opportunity to undertake a clinical support portfolio.

Remuneration: MP Consultant Year 1-9 $354,487 - $451,677 p.a. pro rata (inclusive of base salary, 9.5% superannuation and professional development allowance).
