The Emergency Senior Hospital Medical Officer (ED SHMO) will provide the Director of Emergency and other Hospital Medical Officers in the assessment and management of acute patients within the Emergency Department. Direct responsibility is to the Director of Emergency. The ED SHMO will provide day to day clinical management of patients under the care and direction of the Director of the Emergency Department.
