New Zealand: where you can advance your career in a variety of Emergency Medicine departments and regions throughout the country. From Southland to Whangarei, eighteen hospitals are approved for emergency medicine training. All Districts and their regions have something to offer. While some offer regional rural experience, others offer urban district or major referral experience. Don’t miss out on applying and being selected for the 2024 training year. The training programme
Each region in New Zealand has its own training programme and we would encourage you to seek information on these via the individual Te Whatu Ora District websites (www.aucklanddoctors.co.nz website for the Auckland region). In addition, further information can be found on the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM). This is the not-for-profit organisation responsible for training emergency physicians and advancement of professional standards in emergency medicine in New Zealand and Australia.
