Wagga Wagga Base Hospital provides a 24/7 Emergency Department that supports both the township of Wagga Wagga and surrounding towns and villages. Our recent $431 million redevelopment can be seen here . Wagga Wagga Base Hospital become operational in January 2016. As one of the busiest rural referral hospitals in NSW with 300 beds, over 40,000 emergency presentations, 1100 births and approximately 11,000 operations each year.
