Pre-hospital Emergency - Consultant/Senior Registrar - Casual Work

SecMedic is a provider of pre-hospital care at events including festivals, sporting events and community gatherings.  We are looking for FACEM, Registrar and Senior Registrar (ACEM) to join our exciting team and experience out of hospital emergency care.

SecMedic is based in Melbourne and we work across Australia to provide emergency medical care at festival and events in remote locations.  The work is fast-paced at times and our crew of CCRN, RN, Paramedics and First Responders are working alongside to support the clinical care of patrons and patients.

This environment is ideally suited to medical professionals who are looking to advance their scope of practice to include pre-hospital environment.  As we work across multiple States and the regulatory requirements sometimes differ, some States offer the opportunity for Senior Registrars to adopt the role of clinical lead while other States require all roles to work under the direction of a FACEM/Consultant. 

Pre-hospital care is a growing field and there is currently a unique opportunity for hospital based personnel to blend hospital/pre-hospital or take the opportunity to work alongside crews that will rarely work together.  SecMedic guarantee that no matter what the requirements are, being in this role will offer challenge and opportunity to expand knowledge base further.

The work is casual and there is complete flexibility when accepting shifts.  The Medical Assessment Tent (MAT) is fully staffed with CCRN, RN and Triage, with separate resuscitation area.  Our business is young and growing and we have strong Clinical Practice Guidelines to guide our clinical crew.

We are regular medical providers at events such as Warrnambool Cycling, Esoteric Festival, PICA and Now & Again.  We are looking for crew to join  us on upcoming events - now and into the future.
