About the role

The Emergency Department has an annual census of 45,000 patients and is growing year on year.  Casemix is interesting and varied, including 25% paediatrics.  The department is recognised for 24 months training with ACEM (Australasian College for Emergency Medicine), has supported many trainees through their training and exams and also has a number of active EMC/EMD/EMAD candidates.

Generous Remuneration

Base salary (for substantive FTE): $414,908 - $484,083 per annum depending on experience

Locum rates: $300 - $400 per hour depending on shift.

We are currently offering opportunities for locum work as well as and substantive FTE. You must be passionate about developing new ideas and committed to continuous improvement. This is a hands-on clinical role and you will be required to demonstrate a high level of clinical competence and be highly motivated. Experience and skills in ultrasound, toxicology or acute medicine is also highly desired.
