About the role
We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented FACEM to lead our emergency medical services within our community and region. The Clinical Director should have experience in Emergency Medicine and an interest in emergency medicine systems management with a demonstrated record of engagement in the development and implementation of innovative programs for emergency patients is desired for this role. The Clinical Director Emergency Medicine will also have the traits of a great leader, represent the organisational interests, and would benefit from experience in medical administration.
Working as part of a collaborative and highly skilled team of health professionals, excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, along with a proven capacity to provide clinical leadership to a range of professional clinical staff in multi-disciplinary team.
We will consider a co-director role for interested candidates with appropriate background. We are accredited for 6 months of specialist ACEM training.
Applicants are required to have suitable qualifications as a medical practitioner registered with AHPRA and be a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Emergency Physicians.
