About Redcliffe Hospital
Redcliffe Hospital ED is a mixed paediatric and adult urban district ED that sees more than 65,000 patients a year, of which more than 20% are paediatric. The department is accredited for 36 months of ED training, as well as for the paediatric logbook and a new construction is currently underway for a dedicated paediatric department. We have a group of more than 20 FACEMS and 23 registrar positions.
Redcliffe hospital is in the northern seaside suburb of Redcliffe, an easy commute from central Brisbane. We have a dedicated group of FACEMs to create a supportive environment, and there is a strong support for education with protected Thursday afternoon registrar teaching, primary exam teaching program, fellowship exam teaching program, and an on-site simulation and skills centre.
Redcliffe hospital is a great choice if you want to work in a supportive environment, with a good case-mix with high acuity, in an expanding department, with the flexibility of living in Brisbane to commute.
