Head of Emergency Emergency Department Permanent Full / Part Time (up to 80 hours per fortnight available) Help take us to the next level! We are seeking an experienced senior medical officer/specialist to lead our dedicated Emergency Department. The Head of Emergency is a senior leadership role that will work closely with relevant Directors, medical team members and the ED Nurse Unit Manager to ensure the provision of optimal emergency medical services to the Wimmera Community. This role includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities. Our vision is to ensure our ED provides the quality of care that our community have a right to expect from an Australian regional ED in 2022. Our Emergency Department has 10 treatment spaces, including a resuscitation room and a Fast-Track area, and treats approx. 15,000 patients annually. The medical team is supported by a highly skilled emergency nursing team, including 2 nurse practitioners. It is a training site for ACRRM and ACEM. Key Selection Criteria
