We have a well-established and supportive team of Emergency Physicians.  We pride ourselves in providing a collegiate working environment with a good relationship with the inter-hospital staff.  We have a high standard of teaching for our juniors and involve ourselves in the teaching programme for the Medical Students at the University of NSW Rural Clinical School.    The Mid North Coast Network also provides consultant cover for Kempsey District Hospital 16 hours a day.  Kempsey is a low socio-economical area with a high indigenous population and all the challenges that this medicine incurs.  It offers the only rural ultrasound fellowship within NSW with designated ultra sonographers.   The successful candidate will have Fellowship (or eligibility) of the Australian College of Emergency Medicine Eligibility for Specialist registration with AHPRA Demonstrated substantial clinical experience in the management of high acuity patients including paediatrics, trauma and ideally retrieval medicine Demonstrated experience in teaching at a registrar or fellowship level Ultrasound qualifications desirable   We are offering: Full time or fractional Staff Specialist Positions or VMO positions Relocation expenses   For further information about this exciting opportunity, please contact: Dr Digby Hone, Director, Emergency Department, Port Macquarie Base Hospital, [email protected]    (+61255242133)

We are seeking fully qualified Emergency Physicians to join our team. The department is led by a group of committed FACEMS (4.5FTE) including a full time Clinical Director.   Apply now New state of the art Emergency Department (ED) that provides direct patient care, clinical supervision of Junior Medical Officers and assistance with the management of ED services Manning Hospital has a busy ED seeing in excess of 33,000 presentations p.a., 30-35% admission rate and 20% Paediatric case load. The ED has 2 resus bays, 14 acute beds (2 paediatric), 5 consult rooms, 1 mental health room and 1 isolation room.
